The practice featured in this clip focuses on movement, receiving the ball and passing on your second touch.
The players work in groups of three with the working player performing a fast movement to get into the correct open body position to receive the ball on his first touch and lay the ball off to his team mate on the second touch. The drill recreates match situations when the correct movement, body position and control help players to keep possession of the ball in tight situations. The practice featured in this clip focuses on the accuracy of the passing in an unopposed situation. The players work in groups of three and all move forward while performing a one touch volleyed pass technique. The drill recreates match situations when the movement of both the target player and of the player passing the ball requires an adjustment in the pace and the trajectory of the pass.
