About FDA

Football Development Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 2006 with the vision of creating a unique football education environment where junior players of all ages and abilities can nurture their passion for the game under the guidance of expert coaches.

Since 2006 FDA has developed a number of core programs to suit the varying needs of our players and parents. The company runs an Academy program for elite players (FDA Academy), Junior Development Programs for players who are new to training in a structured environment (FDA JDP) and school holiday football camp programs (FDA Football Camps).

FDA’s football programs are based on the format used in European based junior academy environments and the team draws on references from Italy, France and Spain for its program content.

FDA places a strong emphasis on the important human values associated with the game of football around the world and encourages a strong sense of respect, teamwork, friendship and fun at all of our programs.

FDA also assists corporate clients and brands in connecting with the football loving community, especially on a grassroots level. Our clients include: The Accor Hotel group, Austar, Sony Entertainment (Sony Playstation), EA Sports (FIFA 08 launch), Gatorade.

In 2010 FDA will migrate its extensive coaching and football event management expertise into the corporate environment to facilitate professional football training and run football themed events for companies and their staff.

“Football is not a sport for the elite; it is available for everyone, irrespective of size, shape, colour or faith. It is a real sporting democracy, which offers educational values, health benefits, social opportunities, and sporting worth. The game is a wonderful vehicle for personal and sporting development.”

Andy Roxburgh, UEFA Technical Director
