FDA, the official partner of AC Milan for Australia and NZ continuously monitors and reviews international best practice in relation to all aspects of the technical development of the game of football (soccer), incorporating Grassroots initiatives, Player Development and Coach and Parent Education into its research. FDA than helps to integrate these best practices where appropriate into existing football development and education programs in Australia.

FDA focuses on bringing the best practice in grassroots development to Australia and cultivating relationships with major European Football Clubs. We strongly believe – and the statistics from major European clubs confirm – that it is important for young players to develop fully as people and as footballers in their natural environment before considering a career overseas.

FDA also offers services to local associations and clubs that are interested in exposing their players and coaches to overseas coaching expertise to facilitate their development.

Our relationship with AC Milan helps us to source football development and coaching expertise of the highest quality in relation to technical, tactical, physical, psychological and medical aspects of the game from an environment that is constantly improving its performance through research and analysis.

“Football is not a sport for the elite; it is available for everyone, irrespective of size, shape, colour or faith. It is a real sporting democracy, which offers educational values, health benefits, social opportunities, and sporting worth. The game is a wonderful vehicle for personal and sporting development.”

Andy Roxburgh, UEFA Technical Director
